Inspired by her grandmother Grace, and her great-mother Lottie, Beth Hedgspeth created their namesake company and Youtube channel ten years ago, creating custom works of of art. Since then, Beth has established a following by filming her creative process, seeking to empower whom she calls the “Everyday Artist” by showing us that even if you’re not practicing professionally, making art should be accessible to everyone.Beth needed a logo, branding guide, and business cards that represent her warm and approachable online content without veering into craftiness.
Today, Grace & Lottie's creates art supply swatch videos and soothing color-with-me videos. Download one of Beth's printable swatch sheets from Etsy and follow along as she swatches that set of Prismacolor pencils. Small batches of carefully hand-milled paints are available on the Grace & Lottie's site on a limited basis.
Logotype & Monogram

Finalized logotype

The monogram gave Beth the option to watermark her videos and photographed artwork or use in smaller areas such as stickers or rubber stamps.
Brand Colors
The main color used in the Grace & Lotties logo is PMS 293U (PMS 293C for printing on coated stock). Choosing additional colors add variation to the Grace & Lotties brand.

Process
We worked directly from the initial pencil sketches for the logotype and monogram. Beth's favorite part? The double -T ligament. "It's like lifting up hands," she told me, after first reviewing the sketches.
